Our Dispute Resolution department offers advice and expert representation on a wide range of disputes, both actual and potential.

Commercial Litigation – We have experience in a variety of commercial litigation matters, from small scale employment issues or quasi-partnership break-ups through to major contractual, trust or corporate issues.  Commercial litigation forms the backbone to Callin Wild’s dispute resolution work and is an area in which they are well thought of internationally.

Alternative Dispute Resolution – Our Advocates have considerable experience in arbitration and mediation settings and are well versed in the various options available.

Bankruptcy/Insolvency – We act in all types of litigation concerning insolvency whether corporate or individual.

Recovery/Enforcement/Fraud – Through freezing orders and related injunctions, asset tracing, garnishee and attachment orders, retention of title claims Callin Wild can claim expertise in acting for claimant, defendant or intermediary when such disputes arise.

Securing Evidence – We have considerable experience in all procedures related to obtaining evidence, both oral and documentary, for use in the Isle of Man or for use in other jurisdictions.

‘General Practice’ Litigation – We can bring considerable experience and practical expertise to any claims relating to personal injury, professional and medical negligence, employment issues, family or crime related litigation, disputes regarding wills or probate.  Callin Wild is happy to consider accepting instructions in respect of both claimant and defendant work.

Complex Trust – Our Advocates have extensive expertise in acting for beneficiaries and claimants in defending and attacking complex trust and corporate structures.  We have also advised and represented trustees, protectors and other intermediaries in respect of such disputes.
