Keiron Murray

Advocate - Keiron deals principally with Commercial Litigation and works in the firm’s busy litigation department.
Keiron was called to the Manx Bar in 2000 and joined the firm in April 2005. He deals principally with Commercial Litigation and works in the firm’s busy litigation department.
Keiron has wide ranging experience of winding up, freezing and disclosure order proceedings (often involving cross-jurisdictional elements); petitions of doleance (the Island’s equivalent of judicial review), data protection, directors disqualification and financial regulatory work, particularly involving Fiduciary Service Providers. He has also appeared in professional negligence disputes and landlord and tenant litigation and has a growing local employment law practice.
Keiron has recently acted against the Department of Local Government and the Environment in proceedings seeking to set aside the Island’s Strategic Plan and continues to represent the Financial Supervision Commission in numerous directors disqualification cases. He acted for Department of Trade and Industry in relation to the proceedings brought by the auditor KPMG which centred on disputed loans to the MEA.
